The Actual “First Game” Nike Air Zoom Generation Is Releasing This Summer_Fashion at Your Feet
With Nike set to release LeBron James’ Nike Air Zoom Generation “First Game” on March 21st, it’s only fitting that this other OG colorway makes its way back to stores as well. However, these should be noted as the actual “First Game”, because this white/black/red colorway debuted during the King’s first regular season game against the Sacramento Kings on October 29th, 2003.
The world was watching when LeBron, straight out of high school and the weight of insane expectations on his shoulders, took the court in NorCal. He put up an incredibly impressive stat-line of 25 points, 9 boards, and 6 times while sporting his first signature shoe with Nike – the H2 Hummer-inspired Air Zoom Generation. This first look at the 2023 Retro (slated to drop Summer 2023) sees the original LeBron model in its original form, but curiously enough Nike has chosen to exclude the protective film that covers the delicate bumper at the heel. They’re meant to be removed anyway, but it’s still an OG touch that many Nike LeBron fans would enjoy.
This AZG release dropped back in August of 2017, but enough time has passed to deem these a must-cop in 2023. See the first look images ahead and stay tuned for official release date info; MSRP is set at $180.
