The Nike Drop Type LX Gets A Clean Black And White Colorway_Fashion at Your Feet

Originally launched as a member of Nike’s conceptual collection earlier this summer, the Drop Type LX has emerged once again in a classic black and white makeover. With Beaverton continuing to feed into the age of deconstruction, the hybrid silhouette sports a stripped-down character and involves different textures spread across its upper. Taking on a theme that panders to something more clean and monochromatic, the low-profile model is dressed with a tuxedo black nylon base, while hits of suede arrive on the eye-stays and lateral overlays. The “unfinished” aesthetic is clearly presented here by way of the exposed foam tongue, exterior rubber toecap, and layered midsole that wraps around the mid-foot.
