Jewel Swooshes are quite arguably underused in today’s market with pairs of the Air Force 1 and droves of Air Maxes being among the lucky few to don them. Joining the club just recently — with the “Quai 54” edition being one of the more recent to debut it — the Air Jordan 1 Mid returns to the coveted tooling atop a colorway dubbed “Fearless.” Either horror themed by design or representative of MJ’s storied career, the pair features the ever-iconic Black/Red palette referenced in spades across both street and high-end fashion. Largely stripped down, however, black comprises much of the presentation in a seemingly faded nubuck texture; contrast stitching in the warm, warm tone are found throughout the edge of each and every panel while taking up dye atop the wings iconography and outsole.
