This Nike Kyrie 5 “Graffiti” Is Made For Brooklyn_Fashion at Your Feet
Kyrie Irving made himself an official member of the Nets in early July, inking a near-max contract to take his talents to Barclays Center. That means he’s leaving behind the winding, cobble-stoned streets of Boston to Brooklyn, where walls of graffiti dot the decades-old brownstones and the newly built condos. This upcoming October 1st drop of this kids-exclusive Kyrie 5 takes on the signature style of art on the Flytrap mid-foot cover, and although it seems like these were made for Biggie’s borough, it’s likely just a coincidence as his Nike Basketball brother Giannis Antetokounmpo’s got his own graffiti-laden Zoom Freak 1. Aside from the graphic print, what makes these Kyrie 5 shoes unique is the warped logo on the tongue, which is clearly making its own attempt to fit in with the look. Check the photos ahead and get ’em on 10/1.
